Namibia can be crossed on paved main roads. Gravel, sand and desert detours are choices, not requirements. Guards matches the route to the group, the cars and the appetite for adventure, with conservative travel times and no driving after dark.

Guards sources suitable insured 4x4s in Windhoek, coordinates handover, checks the vehicles and recovery equipment, then stocks them for the route.

No. Guards builds the premise, route, vehicles, bookings, challenges, logistics and safeguards. You drive, decide and live the Special. Support protects the group without turning the trip into an escorted vacation.
How long is the Namibia Special?
The source itinerary is nine days from the first travel day through the return to Windhoek. Cape Town time and flight timing can be adjusted around the group.
How many people is it for?
The original build was planned for a private group of 2 to 3 people using multiple 4x4s. Guards can adapt the plan for a larger group after confirming vehicle, camp and support capacity.
What does it cost?
There is no generic public quote. Guards prices the actual vehicles, stays, flights, activities and support for your group, then presents the direct costs and Guards fee clearly before anything is booked.
Can I bring my own vehicle?
Yes, if it suits the route. Guards can coordinate transport, customs, storage, delivery, insurance conversations and preparation. Renting locally is simpler; bringing your own makes the Special more personal.
How difficult is the driving?
It can be as straightforward or adventurous as the group wants. Namibia has paved main roads and highways. Gravel and sand are optional route choices. Guards plans conservative travel times, avoids night driving and matches the roads to the vehicles and drivers.
Is Guards affiliated with Top Gear?
No. Guards is independent. The influence is the idea of using cars to enter a country, test a friendship and create a story worth remembering.
